The Education and Culture Department of Musées Mulhouse Sud Alsace...

...works with some of the most prestigious technical and industrial museums in Europe.
It aims to use these centres of universal knowledge to offer the widest possible access to its resources to the largest
number of visitors.

By organising many practical workshops, tours and events in each museum and driving a policy of publishing educational
documents that is innovative with regard to both content and form, the department is helping to build a new and resolutely
dynamic image for museums from the third millennium.

Among other examples, it has a logistical tour assistance guide called “Et si on allait au musée ?” (How about a trip to the
Museum?) with different learning circuits that combine museum tours and town heritage sightseeing.
Its mission is not however limited to creating tools, but extends well beyond that, to distributing them and communicating them, not just to teachers but also to parents, school tourism operators and the
media.
