Electricity and his mystery

The collection of the Electricity Museum includes over 12,000 objects, a thousand of which are
permanently on display.

They include objects relating to the scientific discovery of electricity and its industrial uses - from electrostatic machines to generating sets - and household items that show the radical changes that have occurred over the past century in the areas of comfort, food preparation, communication, audiovisual media and so many others.
The objects exhibited are supplemented with a large collection of documents, posters and technical and commercial archives.
The principal piece in the collection is the Sulzer-BBC generating set dating from 1901, which was why the museum was set up in the first place.
