Wesserling Park - Ecotextile Museum

The history of the site began in 1699, when the Abbot Princes of Murbach built a hunting lodge on the Wesserling moraine, which was already surrounded by fine gardens.
Prior to the Revolution, Wesserling was promoted to the status of Royal Manufactory, and gradually
became the largest textile mill in France.
Wesserling became a true industrial empire in the 19th century, pioneering creations as well as
social and economic progress.
